Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collect cash from enterprise locations every week and process cash drops according to established procedures.

2. Prepare and complete weekly flash reports on designated drop days.

3. Ensure all cash is deposited with properly to the relevant bank account..

4. Perform weekly revenue audits to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.

5. Monitor cash accounts daily for unusual or questionable activity, including deposits, journal vouchers, and cash receipts.

6. Investigate and resolve cash variances promptly.

7. Reconcile assigned bank accounts monthly, with all reconciliations due by the first week of the following month.

8. Complete purchase order postings as assigned.

9. Process monthly fuel charges and reconcile credit card reimbursements.

10. Complete monthly POS system reconciliations.

11. Prepare and upload journal vouchers for Square and FareHarbor deposits and fees, including activity for all enterprises.

12. Review all point‑of‑sale systems to ensure tax rates are accurate and current; update fuel tax rates as needed.

13. Reconcile taxes for all enterprises after each month‑end close and maintain the tax collection tracking spreadsheet.

14. Prepare quarterly tax transfer documentation and submit it to the Chief Financial Officer for review.

15. Assist with insurance transfer reminders and processing related to enterprise operations.

16. Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer or Financial Controller to support departmental operations.

Qualifications

1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks.

2. Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.

3. Experience handling confidential financial and tax information.

4. Proficiency with financial systems, bank reconciliations, POS data, and basic accounting principles.

5. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

6. Prior experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or cash handling preferred.
