Adventure Park Security Attendant

Full-time

The Adventure Park Security Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for campground guests, visitors, employees, and tribal resources. This position performs routine patrols, monitors campground activities, responds to incidents and emergencies, enforces campground rules, and provides exceptional customer service during evening, overnight, early morning, and weekend operations. The Adventure Park Security Attendant serves as an on-site representative of the campground and works closely with the Park Ranger Lead to ensure a positive guest experience while protecting campground facilities and natural resources.

Senior Meal Driver

Part-time

The Senior Meal Driver is responsible for delivering senior meals to over 50 participants on the La Jolla Indian Reservation. They will be responsible for delivering meals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays using a government vehicle. Meals may have to be picked up from the Pala Reservation

Janitor

Part-time

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of the Tribal Hall and Administration facilities. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and culturally respectful environment for community members, staff, and visitors. The Custodian will perform general cleaning duties, support event setup/teardown, and assist in maintaining building functionality.

Cultural Monitor

Full-time

The Cultural Monitor acts as the Tribal staff representative between Federal, State, Public, and County agencies’ projects and the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer. The Cultural Monitor will be assigned to development/construction projects to participate and obtain firsthand knowledge of archeological excavations and construction in areas that are known to have cultural significance or have the potential for cultural deposits. The Cultural Monitor is responsible for the protection and preservation of tribal sacred sites and strives to avoid unnecessary impacts or disturbances that may lead to the desecration of cultural sites.

Education Director

Full-time

The Education Director serves as the senior leader responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating all educational programs on the Tribal Reservation. This role ensures that early childhood educational services reflect Tribal values, support cultural preservation, and promote academic excellence for Tribal members and the surrounding community. The Education Director oversees departmental operations, supervises staff, manages budgets, and collaborates closely with the Tribal Council, school partners, and community stakeholders. This position plays a central role in shaping the future of the Tribe’s youth, strengthening cultural identity, and ensuring that education systems honor Tribal sovereignty. It’s a leadership role with deep community impact.
